You might like the Union so much you want to work for us – or you might just need the cash and a job! We are really positive about employing students and not just in our bars. Each year we employ over 350 students in wide variety of roles.
All our student staff vacancies in Union services such as Source, 53 Degrees and Essentials and in our membership services are advertised through The Bridge, our dedicated student employment service. You may need to persist though, and make sure we know about your skills as competition is tough.
Many students employed by us have gone on to work in jobs building on their experience gained with the Union. Some now have permanent jobs and careers with the Union and advertisements for these roles are advertised widely in the local media and national media, through NUS and through The Bridge.
If you are employer who wishes to employ students we are happy to assist with both advertising roles but also supplying staff through our agency service.
